Welcome to the Soundscape Community. We are a diverse group of organizations and individuals dedicated to enhancing accessibility and inclusivity for all. In collaboration with a global user community and open-source developers, we are pleased to offer the Soundscape Community app worldwide.

The Soundscape Community app allows users to fully engage with their surroundings and effortlessly navigate using groundbreaking spatial audio technology. Utilizing audio cues placed in the environment around you, the app highlights points of interest, personalized markers, shared locations, businesses, and other relevant information. As you move through different spaces, these audio cues create a dynamic 3D sound experience.

Key Features of Soundscape:

• Immersive audio cues in 3D space, providing directional sound for points of interest, parks, roads, and other features in your vicinity
• Track specific locations by placing an Audio Beacon on them to receive updates on their proximity to you
• Utilize Soundscape Street Preview to virtually explore locations, traversing streets and hearing ambient sounds specific to each spot
• Access buttons on the Home Screen for further exploration of your surroundings, whether in reality or through Street Preview

To optimize your experience, we recommend using stereo headphones suitable for outdoor wear. Headphone options such as bone conduction headsets, Apple AirPods, or in-ear open headphones have proven effective with Soundscape. Designed to enhance ambient awareness in the background, the app seamlessly integrates with other applications like podcasts, audiobooks, email, and GPS navigation.
